The Convention hotel is The Holiday Inn Birmingham City Centre and the business session and entertainment will be held in the adjoining Birmingham Conference and Exhibition Centre.  

The Holiday Inn Birmingham is a very smart recently refurbished central Birmingham hotel with a restaurant and extensive meeting space.

The hotel is a two-minute stroll from Birmingham New Street station and we would advise Lions members coming to convention to think about coming by train rather than by car.

The hotel is steps away from the theatre district and the city’s vibrant Chinatown, and only 10 minutes by car from the M6 motorway. Shoppers are spoiled for choice with the high-end Mailbox, the vast Bullring and the Grand Central shopping centre within a short walk. For those not wishing to stay for the business sessions exhibitions at the nearby Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery are just a short stroll away where you can see the famous Staffordshire Hoard.

There is an NCP car park at the rear of the hotel and some excellent rates have been negotiated for members staying at the Holiday Inn.

For stall holders there is a loading bay at the rear of the exhibition centre with easy access into the ground floor of the convention centre which is where we will be placing the stalls and display throughout convention.
